Description
Well, what we have here is the 3rd or 4th incarnation of Omega 7's Columbia Helicarrier.
In 3d, it's the third incarnation, but the 4th overall if you count the model that I built out of an aircraft carrier kit.

This version owes itself to me looking more closely at the SHIELD version from Avengers.
I've made the hull slingly more 'aerodynamic' while, at the same time, giving it fans sized more in line with the version we saw in the movie.
I've kept the six fan configuration, but sized the elevators and catapults along the lines of real world carriers.

This version was modeled in Google Sketchup, then exported as an obj file. I used the same fans, thruster packs, and CIC pieces from the last version.
Markings were worked up in Paint Shop Pro, and the whole thing was put together in Poser 9

Aircraft models are my "Omega 7 Tau" transport craft and "Omega 7 Sigma" fighter craft.
