Description
Way back in the early days of Star Trek The Next Generation, my RP group and I wanted a ship to use in that new universe.
Only having access to the movie-era ships at the time, we turned to the old FASA Star Trek Role Playing Game and its Federation Ship Recognition Manual.
We chose a "Reliant" class ship, the USS Odysseus NCC-26278 to be that ship.

I decided recently to build up a model of that "original" Odysseus using the 1/1000 USS Reliant kit from Polar Lights/Round 2
The kit was built stock, using the aztec decals that Polar Lights put out for the kit.
The custom "Odysseus" markings were created in Paint Shop Pro and printed onto clear decal paper

Full view is a little under half the full size of the image, which is over 3200 pixels wide
