"Yokai weasels. Often traveling in groups of three, Kamaitachi appear as a whirlwind, slicing into flesh while causing no pain to their victims."I didn't know much about this guy until I started reading about him today. When I saw a picture of him in a book on Yokai in art I knew I wanted to include him in this set. I don't get many opportunities to work on animals like these, but this was fun one to do.
While I based their design mainly on the old prints, I decided to make their "sickle claws" actually razor sharp wind that projects from their paws. It certainly explains how they are able to produce a whirlwind, but the wind effect was a nice challenge >v

Hehehe it would be interesting to try domesticating one. I'm not sure how it would react tbh, but they are more intelligent than the average weasel xD;;

Hehehe thanks! I was looking at pictures of weasels for reference, but the ones of the little white ones looking to the camera looked really cute and I wanted this one to be the same. It's like if you saw it without the wind, just sitting there you wouldn't think its a Yokai.
I'm still not sure how I feel about the wind blades now, but I'm glad you like the effects >v<
