Hi, dropping by from Project Comment.
I saw this and thought is was a fun little dragon I should check out.
Now, I have to give my disclaimer. I have never personally, made an animations or gif type of art and I have no idea of all that goes into making them. So, I will try to give feed back on stuff that I do now.
This is a fun and whimsy little thing. It's so bouncy and very charming. I am not sure who the characters is of where it comes from but, I like the design and I how it is animated.
Design of the character is unique (at least, to me) as I have not seen too many designs of dragons like this. but, to be fair, I don't typically look for dragons like this often lol
The features on this are simple yet, effective. The face and little bow and lines on the wings make sense and seem to match up with the character and add a lot of personality as well.
I am glad you used a light background colour for this, as to make the dark purple of the dragon stand out and not get lost to the background. It seems that you planned and put some thought into how the final product would come out.
The animation of this is nice. Its so fluid and bouncy. It adds a cartoon-ish quality to the dragon. The movements are soft, bouncy and round. I don't know if the word "round" makes sense but, it seems like nothing is sharp or jagged on the character design of the animation.
Now, as I mentioned, I don't know all the ins and outs or how to even begin to make some thing like this but, I do have some small suggestion and minor nit pics I thought I would mention.
First being, the size of the animation. It is a little harder to see and since the character has purple skin or scales rather, and having the hair and some of the other body arts a variation of purple, it does make it harder to see.
My other nit pic is with the over all size. Because of the size of the animation, it is a bit difficult to see all the hard work and details that you put into this. I am not sure if the size is some thing that you can alter due to the animations of this but, if so, I would suggest to make the image a littler larger to see.
I am glad to see more of your work. I am enjoying watching you branch out and use different mediums. I look forward to seeing more.
Thanks for sharing.

Greetings from ProjectComment !
Let me just say that this darling is super cute! The stubby legs, big head, and tiny arms make Kira look and feel and move in the most adorable way! -and a little goofy!
The proportions aren't too big or too small, keeping her anatomy believable and kawaii at the same time. I am glad that you kept everything at a medium leg and width as it helps the viewer discern more quickly what they are looking at! Too often artists (in my opinion) will make their pixel animations too small, thus confusing the audiences eye's and forcing you too squint in order to make out any extra details that the artist put into their work.
On that note, the details in this (lighting and shading) are excellent. They don't appear to move or shift with Kira's movements, but they don't need to for this, and it might confuse the viewer's eye as to where her limbs were if they did. The restrained rendering really helps to differentiate different parts of the dragon from her body!
Now, about the movement, I think you also did a tremendous job on that! The way her mane bounces feels so natural, so free. In fact, each and every motion in this piece feels right! You definitely captured a feeling of weight and gravity, and that is ultimately what really makes animations like these come alive!
Before I end this, though, I just wanted to say that the way her stubby legs flatten out on the ground and keep going is just so cute! It's literally my favorite part. XD I would also like to add that I think you chose a really good color for the background! If you had picked a color on the opposite end of the color wheel like some would be tempted to do, it would have helped make Kira stand out, but it probably would have been a little too distracting. The icy background helps make her stand out while staying in harmony with her more garish purple color scheme.
As a non-animator artist, I'd give this a five out of five! Fantastic work!

Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it! I haven't been experimenting with animation long, but I find it rewarding and relaxing. I'm glad that it feels natural to you!

Simply go to my RP account , and it should be under either gallery or journals. Also, even though it says "closed," It's actually open.
