Even when I read The Hobbit years ago, Thranduil was always one of my favourites. Needless to say, I think he looks absolutely majestic in the movies.
I haven't been able to draw anything new in forever that I actually like. So this is a bit old.Art (c) me

It's really stunning. I like the simplicity of both the line and the colour. He really strikes as a powerful monarch in your picture (which is not such a common thing, many people draw elves as sissies

Yes, it's srsly cute! And ah okay, so it's not out in your country yet. I live in the US, so it came out almost 2 weeks ago here. I've just been waiting to see it with my best friend (who's living across the country), because it's kind of a tradition we have. She's supposed to visit this week, so hopefully I can see it soon.
