I never use a meter, but actually it looked just like that when I took the photo because it was around noon. And I like it that way.

i can never get that technical. i have a zorki-4, it doesn't have a meter, and i always checked the exposure range with the digital first (that means not on every frame, but on new light conditions)! i only shot two films with it, got some ok exposures.

i really admire those that have the know-how to get the exposure spot-on!

nowadays one has to experience both success and failure on film to realise that digital is trivial (not to say porn). and even bad shots on film get to feel special and meaningfull.

It isn't all too hard with my camera, it only took me one roll to find out what exposure works best in what situation. I can imagine it's more difficult with other cameras.
