During a record drought this fire broke out along Interstate 70 catching tires and the asphalt on fire.   Although fire trucks were were attempting to put the mile-long fire out, some folks took a chance.

Well Tony, here's the story.  I live next to the interstate.  I heard a siren and found a fire engine in front of my house.  The fire was on the other side of the interstate.  The firemen told me because it was so dry,  they sent the fire engine over here in case the fire jumped the highway.  So I got my camera.
