Do you use a tablet? Still have one myself, but the pen broke
about 8 years ago. Never got it replaced since the pen would've
cost me the price of the original tablet!

I use Paint Tool Sai for all my digital work, and I use a Wacom Intuos 4 medium tablet.

I have only used a mouse, so I need to get onto trying to buy a new
tablet...if only I had an income!

Oops, I said Intuos 4, but I meant the intous 5. That's what I actually have. XD
It took me a while to earn up enough to buy my first tablet, and I bought it used from a friend! It was an old graphire tablet. It still works, though, and my wife uses it, now! Later in life, when I decided to go full time freelance, I used my last paycheck from the job I quit to pay for my Intuos 5, and that's what I have been using. It's a great tablet!Β
Using a mouse is no fun.

When all you have and can afford is a mouse, then I'll have to use it! But I'd
expect SAI is a lot easier to use if you have a tablet!

BzztOKAY! There are several things very wrong with this illustration here. Sorry, Ronin Dude, I have to be frank here.
- For instance, see those pouches on her bandolier. I counted only six. She neeeeeeeeeeds MOOAAAR pouches! And pouches, and pouches, and pouches and moar pouches!
- She is slim, yes, but she is reasonably slim here. Like, as much as anatomically possible to be healthily slim.Β Isn't that cute?Β ...But it's WROOONG!!! She should have her torso flat like a bacon strip, and twisted as a crispy bacon, so there's no room for internal organs, just for moooar pouchums!
- Also, Kacy is simply, yet elegantly dressed, like a boss captain. Y U NO GIVE HER a skimpy, fanservicey, totally piratey suit? Like, short shorts, skimpy torn top and high-heeled boots! Y'know, like a RAEL SKUHRJ FROM LES INTERNETS THE SEVIN SEEZ??? Only with moar pouches.
- Her expression is cool, not so much smug, more like... one of amused confidence. Why such expressiveness, RoninDOOOOOD? You should have given her a teeth-gritting scowl, with all white eyes and more teeth than humans have. Because that's the quintessential expression of badassery.

Now, for a real comment...
First, very cool that she has that look of amused confidence, instead of the generic, done-to-death, angry "look, I'm tough" face. Her very short hair implies practicality in her style over concerns about appearance. Even if she looks pretty sharp in that suit (by the way, nice boots).
And her saber is respectable. It would be even cooler seeing her in action, swinging that thing.
There is only one detail I would revise: the dagger on her chest. It appears with one side facing the camera, in true length, while Kacy is turned to the side, which looks kind of odd. That may be just me nitpicking, though.

Hey thanks! And the dagger looks fine to me, because being as it's on a belt, it might be hanging loosely so the hilt hangs away from the body a bit, allowing that angle.
