An old OC of mine. Chosen as the Maiden of the Moon shortly after birth, Yrngelf was taught nothing but a life of Duty and Sacrifice. However, deep within her heart, Yrngelf was envious of ordinary folk and longed to claim a Destiny she chose for herself. Following the death of the Grand Guardian at the hands of Lord Chuck, Yrngelf finally rebelled against her sacred duty by killing her Solar counterpart and animating her corpse to serve as a distraction for the Heroes while she gathered 3 of the 4 Cardinal Stones. Though she pretended to be a faithful ally, her ruse was revealed by the Guardian of the West...though at the cost of his life. Even after absorbing the Sun Maidens power, she was overcome and slain by the Heroes. Despite not serving Belias, the Dark Paragon, her actions severely weakened the Seal on his prison and thus allowed the Dark Ones most faithful servants to revive...
