I took a photography class last year. One of the assignments was about motion- one had to be still, with a high enough shutter speed to show no motion blur, and the other had to have a single focal point, and the rest be a blur. I flunked that assignment so bad! I just could not figure it out!
This, however, is spot on! The lighting is great, he is in hard focus- it is excellent! As a photographer, I'm sure you know that, usually, putting your subject right smack dab in the middle of the image is a bad thing, but here I think it adds to the image rather than detracts from it!

this subject-in-the-middle thing is soo...i dont know. only because its done way too often and then someone said its not good because blablabla?...i think it always depends on the image. breaking rules is sometimes just a good thing
