Summary:
With the Death Egg destroyed, and the Master Emerald back in its rightful place, Sonic leaves the fabled Angel Island behind to return to life as usual on South Island. But when strange anomalies start popping up in the zones, Sonic is caught in the action!

as for this poster, it turned out... way better than I could've hoped! I'm SO proud of it. all the characters turned out WAY better than I was expecting. I absolutely love them all. and all the effects came together really well! it all worked in my head but I wasn't sure it'd work on paper
originally I was gonna try to emulate a few elements from two movie posters I was referencing, but it wasn't working out. I drew 4 versions before I got to this one. and the composition in this one just popped into my head by chance. I'm really glad I was able to make a poster for my story with a totally original composition!
another thing about this is I worked in CMYK mode, since I wanna print a poster for myself. I was really nervous that I wouldn't be able to get my normal vivd colors with CMYK. the purples and blues were hard to get at a saturation I wanted, but everything else was way easier than I thought!
overall, I'm so happy with this and glad I did it!

Wow! I really am amazed and inspired by this poster drawing of your fanfic, with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Mighty! I love it where Sonic is about to get that emerald, and where the pixels appear at the bottom!
And so terrific with the poses and expressions that you gave them too!

thanks for asking, Asher! I'm fine with people creating things inspired by or based off this story, as long as they say so somewhere in the work
that said, this story has 34 chapters, and I'm only posting 1 chapter per week. that means the last chapter won't be posted until January. that might be a long time for you to wait if you're wanting to know all the story elements before you do your mod! but if you don't mind not knowing all the story elements, and just wanna use what's here now as inspiration, that's fine

Awesome! i was a bit scared when i saw my name and then i realised, oh wait. it's on my profile.
I have some time, because I'm 1. redoing the mod AGAIN because of this idea, I've redone it 6 times now.
AND it's on hiatus, and we're just gathering ideas right now. Development for the mod besides sprites and music will start in August.
The mod is called Sonic Rift, since Sonic Glitch Rift is too long, so for Plus, it's Sonic Rift Glitched.

I was nervous of even putting Mighty in it, cuz he was pretty unknown to most all Sonic fans back then. then Sonic Mania happened and catapulted their popularity, which is awesome, but I can't add a new character in just like that

the purples really killed me here! I wanted needle-y, electric purples, but couldn't reach em in CMYK. had to go for red-violets and pinks instead!
