Today 11/21/08 is the Classic video game, Ocarina of Time's tenth birthday. The first day when ANYONE got a chance to actually hold the game, and play it.
For me and probably all of the Zelda gamers, this is a very special day.

I remember the first time I got the game. I was four years old and my sister had rented the game from the local Hollywood Video. I never had that much interest in the game. Then, the day we were supposed to return it, my sister approached me and told me that my dad bought if for us. I wasn't that enthusiastic about it, but I was forced to watch her play the game. More and more, I fell in love with the game, and months later, me, my mother and my sister had beaten it. (Though when it was time to finally confront Ganondorf, I killed him.) At age four, I killed him. I was so proud!

Also, since the game was originally a rented copy, the previous borrower had already made a file and named it 'JD'. We decided to finish it under this file and I always wondered who this mysterious 'JD' was. Since my brother had abandoned us at the time, I always thought it was him. After all, it had his initials.

Well... I just took a trip on memory lane.. Now to speak about the pic...

Hearing that today was OoT's birthday, I wanted to be a loyal fan and draw a picture for it. So this appeared!
Young Link looks a little odd... But I still like it.
I used the manga for reference for the pictures because I still suck at drawing them. BUT. OH WELL. That doesn't matter. What matters is...

IT'S BEEN TEN YEARS.
