Here is a drawing of Kris that I did. I played Delta Rune a couple days after it was release and honestly I didn't really like it at first. Now after having watching a couple of videos and knowing that it's not a sequel, I think it's a good game and I'm definetely excited about the next chapter. The game was really funny and I really liked the characters but I guess since I tought it was a sequel it kinda felt like Toby wanted to erase the journey that happened in Undertale. Honestly if it didn't have Undertale characters in It I would've had a way better first experience but I know that they'll be something that will link this up back to Undertale. Otherwise it would've been a foolish move to just put Undertale characters and then never any connection to Undertale whatsoever. Also, is it just me or Kris really look a lot more emotionless then Frisk or Chara?Anyway, I'm really proud of this drawing I think it looks quite good. As you might be able to tell I'm experimenting with how to do shadows and light so please tell me if you have any tips. Right? Once I learned it was a prequel of sorts, or even just a related/unrelated game, it became ALOT more interesting, and started presenting alot of new possibilities for where it could go and what connections we may see between the two games.
I like the pic btw. It feels very stylized. It's got it's fair share of issues, but the theme, stylization, and great color pallet really over shadow it's minor problems. Very gj on it!

Yes, I did! I've gotta say that I quite like it! I would prefer that the dark world, like he says, was just an imaginary world since it sounds a lot like the conflict between the monsters and human in Undertale. Also, I like the idea he had about the last chapter being the one where we see Asriel but I don't know how the ending of chapter one would fit in all of this. But I do like his ideas! What did you think of it?

Right? The ending of chapter 1 makes it seem more like the darkner world wasn't just a friendly d&d session. When coming out of it, Susie even mentioned being confused on if it was real or not. So it's entirely possible that it's real in some capacity, and it can take over kris at times, almost like she has a split personality. That might have been what the symbolism of throwing her heart in the cage at the end was hinting towards as well.Β
But I mean, normally matt patt is pretty close to being right with these kinds of theories, about fnaf stuff and under tale stuff. So he might be right. It does seem like maybe it's leading up to asriel coming back in the last chapter.Β But what all happens on the inbetween, after that ending? I mean.. It's all up in the air it seems.Β
