Description
After spending two incredibly boring days in the hospital, the doctors finally released me. I went down to the reception, to fill some stupid hospital forms while Mycroft picked up my stuff from the room. I was about to leave the hospital when my phone rang. Mycroft's name appeared on the screen, but when I answered, it was not his voice talking.
"Where are you, Sherlock?"
I was speechless. It was Jane. I heard nurses in the background. They took the phone from her before I could say anything, so I started to run towards her room. It hurt me to run, but I didn't care. When I got to the room, all the nurses were getting out. Mycroft was standing next to Jane's bed.
"She fell asleep. But don't worry, she's not back in coma. I'll get your stuff back to the apartment, so you can stay here."
I waited for Mycroft to leave and then I gently put my hand on hers. She opened her eyes and said "Hey you. Did you hear me? On the phone?"
"Yes. Did you hear me when you were in coma?"
"Yes." She stroke my forehead, under my hair, and stopped when she felt my stitches. It was also caused by the fall.
"You're hurt. What happened?" She asked worried.
"Moriarty locked us in the flat and set fire in your room instead of mine. The only way out was to jump of the window."
"Did I brake any bones? Am I going to be a cripple? Do you have any bad injuries except the stitches?"
"You didn't brake anything. I wrapped you with my arms when we fell. The doctors say that I protected you from the fall. I broke a few ribs, but that doesn't matter"
"You saved my life, Sherlock. Thank you"
"No. It was my fault in the first place. If you weren't my flat mate..."
"Then I would have never known you. And I don't want that. I love you, Sherlock. Nothing can brake that." She smiled and moved a little left in the bed, making room for me. "Come here" I laid down next to her and held her tight. She fell asleep in my arms and I staid up all night, listening to her breathing.
