Merry Christmas to all of you.
For those of you who have been following me for a few years on here, you likely know that for Christmas, I like to make some kind of drawing featuring Jesus. I've drawn myself giving Him a present , Him hanging out with Santa Claus , Him celebrating with His Father and the Holy Spirit , and various Christmas icons wishing Him a happy birthday .
This year, I decided to go with something a bit more serious but also meaningful. I went with a little something based on John 3:16, one of the most iconic verses in the Bible. Christmas Day is the day we celebrate that Jesus was born, as it was God showing His love for humanity. He didn't have to do so, but He did as a way of re-establishing the connection between humanity and Himself. And as tragic as it is, Jesus' crucifixion was and is an equally important part of Christianity, as He suffered to allow humanity complete redemption. And so, on this Christmas, remember that Christ our savior was born to save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray.
