This was a quick painting I did of PixieParrot 's gemsona, Moonstone, (darlingparrot.tumblr.com/post/โฆ ) and mine, Druzy, pumped and ready to make a fusion!!!I tried a different way of painting in sai that proved to be faster and all around better quality in my opinion??? Idk~but this was fun to draw!!!<3
Also Moon and Druzy are total opposites it's kinda funny~

it was so much fun to use and blend all the colors here, and the contrasting shades and lights are sooooo much fun to draw out!

Love the new style! Very reminiscent of watercolors with how soft everything feelsย (which I adore).
Would love to see more work done in this style.

yesssss I really liked utilizing the soft paintbrush, the strokes themselves aren't naturally soft but the settings in the program allowed the strokes to blend really well with eachother
overall I loved 'painting' like this and will be using this technique again!
