Description
This is a character piece from a commision I was working on that has sinse been post-poned. This was a rejected sketch that I decided to paint up for fun and so will not appear in the publication should it ever eventuate.I put this up at conceptart.org and the suggestion was made to give the dog more character as Bill is quite stylised. I certainly agree with this and I may update the illo with a new dog at some point

Wow, Bill is almost gruesome in this shot! I like the little details you've added in, like Bullseye's tail is between his legs, the tattered appearance of Bill's tie, the liquid spilling from the mug, and the old picture tone of the whole piece. Great attention to detail!

Bill is suppossed to be the central focus in the image so I dont see that as the issue. I do however think the dog should be more stylised sinse that is the tone I have set down by Bill.
