I drew and coloured this piece to comemorate my friend from furcadia.Her name was Alexsi.
I don't know many details about her death, as it was quite recent, but I heard through the grapevine that it was pnumonia that had taken her from us.
She'd had lung cancer at one point in her life, so that may have made her lungs weaker than they should have been.
I choose to remember her as a stong and vibrant woman, swinging her trademark mallet at anyone who makes trouble in Lost Lake.
Alexsi. I salute you.

I've always wanted to talk to her... I'm sad that I never got the chance. Maybe I can send her a prayer and hope that she's being taken care of in heaven.

I didn't know Alexsi, but I'm sure she would've loved it. I know I would. (Except I'm not a girl, but...yeah. You get my point.)

Yup. This happened a little while back. I drew that picture as soon as I found out she had passed on. That would have been a day after the fact.

Very good picture. It portrays her in exactly the sort of light I've always remembered her as. Very very VERY Nice and caring, but if you tick her off, here comes the mallet.

Yeah. Just how I remember her too. I considered Lexsi as a good and dear friend.

This is such a sweet picture... without the wings and halo it would capture Alexsi perfectly, or with butterfly wings as she used to wear.
But given the moment the wings and halo are understandable, and I think she would have loved it. We've talked about this before, and I have to agree with you that you did a spectacular job on the hands. Your work with them has improved immeasurably.
All of the lost lakers will miss her terribly. Me included.

Thank you. It's usually traditional to make the halo yellow (gold), but her hair is yellow enough for it.

I knew her from Furcadia. Primarily Lost Lake. She was a Taneest there (moderator). She was one cool gal. Tough but approachable.
I had her on my ICQ list too, but I think she gave up on that some time ago.
