4/5/20: Decided to update Shadow's look a bit to match up with a more recent picture I did of him. Adjusted Robotnik's robot arm a bit too.Reptiline requested I post this, and... yeah! It's finally here!
Sorry it took so long for me to get around to finishing it!

I'm just so curious about what later seasons of SatAM would have become had the series lasted long enough. How would they have introduced each of SEGA's characters, like Shadow for instance, as they each came down the pipeline?
(I mean, can you imagine characters like Jet, Shadow, the Wisps, the Deadly SIX, even INFINITE and how different they would be in the SatAM universe where Snively and Nagus rule on one side of the post-apocalyptic world of Mobius and Robotnik on the other??)
I just couldn't get over the concept of Shadow belonging to THIS Eggman -the malevolent master of roboticization himself- Dr. Ivo Robotnik! Which is pretty much why this comic exists...

Okay, Color me VERY intrigued. Always loved that show, too bad it didn't last. And this concept, You could go in SO MANY different directions with it.

The backstory for Shadow here is quite dark tho, considering Robotnik kidnapped his mother and began experimenting on him before he was even born.
In his bid to create the "perfect living weapon" Julian's experiments eventually result in the death of Shadow's mother's, forcing him to place premature Shadow in a surrogate womb to finish developing. (As seen on page 1.)
The red marks on Shadow's body are proof of Robotnik's genetic tampering.

It'll be interesting to see where this story goes. Thank you for posting it. I hope he'll escape Robotnik's evil influence eventually.

But yes! Eventually Shadow will realize there is no need to continue stomaching Robotnik and will find a way to break from his control - with the help of the Freedom Fighters of course!

Yes.
Tho, in this version, Julian claims to have "created" Shadow. This is only partially true however, as he kidnapped a pregnant black hedgehog and experimented on her unborn child until the processes eventually killed her, forcing Julian to place the premature Shadow in a surrogate womb (seen on page1) to finish developing.
In truth, Shadow (in this ver. anyway) would have been born a normal black hedgehog. But the red marks on his body are proof of Robotnik's genetic tampering.

Eh-heh! I just realized that might've seemed out of context (or came out of the blue).
The reason I brought up the song "Shadow Falls" is because I had been watching this video and thought the song would make a great main theme for it.
