This is my drawing of Taylor Swift, that I did a few months ago. The hair was a real challenge, but I am happy with the results.Materials used:
-HB, 3B, and 6B pencils
-tissues for blending
-kneaded eraser

May I ask, how did you do the hair? I'm currently struggling with drawing realistic hair, and this looks absolutely great.

Thank you! For the hair, I used a mechanical pencil for most of it, so that I could get really fine strokes. I don't know how to describe it, but I look at the hair as big pieces rather than as a whole, so that way, I get more detail into the individual pieces. That sounded really confusing, haha. But that was kind of my strategy for the flower as well, just treat every piece like an individual tiny picture. Also, I was careful to not blend too much in the hair, because that would get rid of the fine strokes.
