Nuka:
Already drew a healthy Nuka before but decided to redraw him anyway. In this au maybe Chumvi won his fight against Simba reclaiming the throne in Scar’s name. Unlike Scar, Chumvi is barely a good ruler. The hyenas are long gone and when they tried to come back after he wins he keeps them out cause “ew why would I let some mutts live in MY lands”. Despite being a fuckboi and a flirt he does keep himself to Zira because he’s kinda scared of her and she’s a lot smarter than him. Nuka is named Heir Apparent and grows big and strong. He’s…not as thick as his father but nearly as wicked as Scar or Zira. He’s at least smart enough to clue in some way that the Pridelands isn’t what it used to be and tries his best to make it better, maybe even trying to set a marriage with Kiara to unite the lands but only keeping her as a minor spouse next to another main one.

Sarabi Cub:
In this au (or maybe main idk) he gets Sarabi to carry a cub for him cause he wants everything that Mufasa had. He gets one son, strong and healthy at birth but slowly deteriorates afterwards. His mane is scraggly and thin, his posture bad, and no muscles or fat to be seen. Scar is disgusted that this “thing” comes from him when Sarabi had such a healthy son before that and when Simba comes back as he does, rippling muscles and full mane at such a young age, he’s even more mad. This guy probably doesn’t make it until Simba comes home, killed off at Scars command or maybe is the one to find Simba( with Nala whom went out to search for her friend). If he did survive maybe a scar 2.0 could’ve happened with him being in love with Nala and them having a will they won’t they dynamic until Simba comes back which blows up in his face.

Simba’s Sister:
With all the attention on Simba as the heir she’s kind of meanders with her mum and is rather salty about the whole thing. She’s not even given the place of Lion Guard leader or member, not even to be married off to another kingdom to be a queen in her own right. She sasses Simba and constantly rolls her eyes at him but deep down she wishes she could have a relationship with her brother. Behind her cuts at Simba’s decisions as king are wise words of advice that he takes to heart and does as she recommends. I think Simba would try hard to get her to open up to him but is a little scared of her quick wit and sharp words. Nala is a frenemy and rival, both excellent hunters and fighters and perhaps what could lead her to bridge the gap between herself and her brother. I think she would also love her father dearly but the years of rebuttal to spend time with Simba made it hard for her to ever get close to him, always struggling against each other with anger flaring up on both sides.

Simba’s brother:
A little mini Scar in all ways but brains. He got the brawn’s but came out on the shallow end of the gene pool in smarts. Same as the sister he got pushes aside by Mufasa to teach Simba everything about kingship so dear old uncle Scar swoops in to comfort the cub and begins poisoning his mind under the guise of training him to be the guard leader. He’s arrogant and pompous just like his uncle but can’t hide it nearly as well. He butts heads with Mufasa and Simba quite often, repeating whatever scar has told him even if he doesn’t understand what he’s saying. In this au he’d probably manage to beat Simba at a fight for the throne when Mufasa is too elderly to rule but is alive to see his sons fight. Simba is left alive, because despite being a Scar jr he doesn’t have it in him to kill his brother, and Mufasa leaves with him furthering the brothers hurt that he’s not good enough for his father. Scar at this point basically drops all niceties and bullies him into doing what he wants and uncovering the wool from his eyes…but he’s a coward. Sure he’s larger than Scar and much younger but he’s always listened to what he was told and can’t stand up for himself, a top of that the entire pride basically hates him, even his mother is icy to him. With complete run of the place Scar gets cocky and the scene from the movie where he yells for Sarabi to do something for him goes wrong and he slaps her, sending her flying and landing with a thud. At this point, the anger of being manipulated overrides the fear and he comes barreling towards Scar, ending his life. Dear old ma is alive but injured. At this point he’s tired and shameful, the Pridelands is in ruins, his relationships all fractured, and he has no will to live. He sends out messengers to call Simba and hopefully his father back home then leaves to hang around the edges of the Pridelands when the true king does return. Always a stranger now despite being welcome to come home himself, he vigilantly guards the borders in secrecy and quickly snuffs out what of Zira’s revenge could come to fruition, leaving many bodies in the out lands and two small cubs at the kings metaphorical doorstep, perhaps even his own body ragged from the fight guards the little bundles and gets lovingly buried alongside his parents to join them in the afterlife.
