Don't you think Ringo was John's favorite Beatle, slash or no slash? I mean, look at them in Help! and here. And even in the dying days, he was all good with Ringo.

"Ringo was all right, but the other two really gave it to us." John said when he was talking about himself and Yoko being unloved in the studio.

And then he wrote that song for Ringo and hung out with him even after the Beatles so there. Paul might have made his best writing partner, and George his best little moe fan, but Ringo was never annoying to John. Paul and George were towards the end.

MD: What are your thoughts on Ringo as a drummer?

Yoko: Ringo is the most underrated drummer in the industry! His drumming is like life—it gives you the most solid beat. When he drummed on my Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band album, I was totally amazed that he had no difficulty in following the very complex improvisational vocals I did – again, no overdubs. I think his incredible drumming was what made so many great Beatles songs possible. We thank you, Ringo!
