Finished this one a while ago but didn't really want to post it because it didn't come out as I had wanted it to, and also because of the crappy photo quality :/. I went out and bought me some A3 Canson bristol board the other day to experiment with markers and watercolors and that is some quality shit, lemme tellya! The texture isn't great for watercolors and it fluffed a bit but it was pretty good. I'll not be risking anymore watercolors on it though, I'll stick to the proper paper.I bought my lady a wii and skyward sword for xmas (LoZ being her fav game apparently) and I got inspired while watching.
Medium : A3 bristol, pencil, watercolor, FC markers and some white acrylic here and there.

Not sure where the focus is. It's like Eye-movement. If you follow the sword it aims towards Gannon's belly, not really interesting. The shield also distracts me and makes my eyes linger to the left side of the drawing.
The quiver (or sword sheath) in this case is well done, it points exactly at Gannon's face (and roughly Link's entire body)but Gannon's head is on about 1/6th of the picture while it'd probably would have looked better a bit lower.
