I actually, in a sense, never really intended John to ever be human, so I've had to work with animal characteristics and body structure more.
Hopefully he develops sometime in the near future. (I'm still not even sure what breed of canine he is..rofl.)

He looks like a....ermm....husky? Perhaps? I cannot draw animals...I've tried to draw our cat Nelly, but she flops around too much and I like to draw from life. Good initial design, though.
