Backstory: Alethea is the adopted daughter of a former hero, whose magic let her be a very good healer for most illnesses.

Alethea’s always been a bit of a sickly child, with her immune system not quite standing up to the grit that came with Viktoria’s lifestyle. Her mother, a healer, wasn’t quite sure what to do but to have her grow up with as normal of a life as possible, at least until her powers came in. Her family wasn’t exactly known for their early bloomers either, and without another parent to help, it wouldn’t be the easiest thing in the world.

Alethea seemed to have an obsession with sound and music, unable to stand absolute silence, always making some kind of noise in her younger years to fill the space, save for in class, out of respect, even if it drove her nuts. She’d spend her time outside of schoolwork and other such singing or listening to music.

Her first use of her powers was by no means dramatic or epic at age twelve. Really, it just took place in her own home, while she spent her time listening to music. It had come out of nowhere, her power much more potent than expected, and her mother couldn’t have been more proud… Even if she did break some of the bottles in the house with her voice on accident when she did use her powers.

With her now registered as a hero, things couldn’t be more interesting for her.
