Photomanipulation of pictures I took at Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris France. Since I took so many photos when I studied abroad, I decided to do a series of photomerged images to show off the places I visited, rather than trying to have dozens of single images for each place.I used photoshop elements for the photomerge and photoshop CS5 for the editing.
I will have others like this for Paris, but I wanted to do a photomerge that focused specifically on Père Lachaise. My favorite images in this are the couple in the top-left corner, and the crying statues in the bottom left corner. Overall, this piece really resonates with me, and after experiencing loss and grief recently, I appreciate my time at Père Lachaise more than I did when I was actually there.
