i took out all of my aggression
all the while i made you mine
you took the brunt of my temper
and you never complained a bit

bruising and scarring
on the outside and inside
your soul being crushed
under the weight of my illness
i pushed you to the point you broke
and i ache for you
when i know i don't deserve you
i can't break from you
& i can no longer take from you
i've got a body-bag
and my grave has been dug
just roll me in and
toss the dirt on top
leave me to rot where i belong
you didn't deserve what i did
oh god, it's 5am again
and my sheets are covered in sweat
my eyes are wide open
staring at the place you used to sleep
i need something more than this
another body to fill the space
because i'm so fucked in the head
just line them up one by one
and i'll cycle through the lot
until someone comes by
that can tolerate my bitter taste
and will embrace what makes me
