Would you say he was persistent complex bereavement disorder with traits of PTSD? Because Freeze shows signs of having trouble with letting his wife go, distrust towards his family and others, and an obsession with preserving life to prevent death (a loss).

Ironic how it was Hugo Strange who eventually tore Victor down, it had to be HIM that cured his wife, HE had to be the one to save her! And brutally points out that if he had SHARED his research, he'd have made leaps and bounds by now!~

Course, considering Strange's own... "predilections", shall we say, he kinda has a hard neck questioning anyone else's mental state...Β

Um, I have a question- why is he photographed out of his suit? Fries can't survive outside of subzero for very long at all. He needs that suit to keep him alive. It's a canonical fact stated in almost everything we see him in. From the Batman Animated Series to even Young Justice- where we see him incarcerated but still with a suit because he needs it.

Well this the canon of Earth-27. Freeze can survive at room temperature for short periods of time, but it is uncomfortable for him. Sustained exposure would be fatal. Hence the reason he is sweating and clearly uncomfortable. Normally he is kept in his chilly cell.

Victor is my favorite. If one can have a favorite for someone who breaks the law. Still, the man is brilliant. He stole only to further his research to save his wife. In some ways he's more human than Batman.
Victor is not Chaotic Evil. I'd say he's Lawful Evil. Yes he steals. But he only steals to save the one life that means most to him.
Don't tell you wouldn't do the same.

"Should Mr. Freeze, I'm sorry, Fries, be allowed to continue his research into a cure for Huntington's Cholera?"
That should be a question on his file. Also, he's not delusional in thinking that his crimes are a valid means to pay for his research into Huntington's Cholera. Arkham staff needs to send his research for review from other medical professionals.Β

Mr. Freeze and Two-Face are the most tragic and sympathetic villains in Batman's Rogue's Gallery. But that's just my opinion.

Viktor has always been a reasonable person for the most part. Sure, he has some issues regarding his wife (and the subsequent crimes he commits because of it), and sure, he has issues with heat (for other valid reasons)... But overall, he really would be considered more of an anti-villain (as opposed to an anti-hero).
