Imagine this picture being the result of the Watchmen taking a group photo, and than fast forward several years later to Zinda in her Lady Blackhawk outfit sitting in a room somewhere in the Clock Tower with a cold drink on a small table nearby and “Unforgettable” playing on a nearby computer, and Zinda is looking at the photo of her now dead brother and his team.
Couple weeks later, someone anonymously sends Zinda her brother’s smiley face pin

DC's decided to shift the blame to dr. Manhattan to explain why the new 52 universe was so screwed up. because everyone knows that the flashpoint event should have ended with the timeline returning to normal, and because of barry's actions the universe was weakened to a point where dr. Manhattan could step in and alter things.
ever since I read the original Watchmen comic series I've always figured that Ozymandias is plan to bring about world peace was going to blow up in his face, which ended up being confirmed by Doomsday Clock to be the case rorschach's Journal ended up getting published by the Press.
