Description
The Knights Hospitaller tasked warrior scholars with tracking down and recovering relics considered important or sacred to the Crusaders. Their role often saw them assigned to other orders of knights as advisors and to seek out relics in territories captured by those crusaders.

Their long iron crucifixes doubled as both walking implements and as polearms. The Relic Seekers are also identifiable by their thick leather gloves. Made from lamb leather, the gloves are thrice blessed & anointed by a local convent of nuns in order to allow the knight to handle relics that would otherwise consume an imperfect soul with holy fire. The large book this knight carries is more akin to a field guide than a holy text. Each Relic seeker is encouraged to carry their own and fill it with the knowledge and insights that they gain in their travels, that they might pass on the knowledge to the next generation of Hospitaller Relic Seekers.
