Description I haven't used any image as reference, but this is a typical slum in Rio de Janeiro, the so famous favelas. More than a bunch of poor people living together in a high density zone with narrow alleys, this kind of community have cultural and social aspects that influence our way of living in Rio. It's also the cradle of Samba.

Actually I did this as a study for an oil painting commission. I'm glad with the result. Let's see how the oil painting is gonna look like...

That is really amazing. Great colors, excellent composition, and I really like how you've abstracted the figures. Great use of foreground, middle ground, and background to show the scale.
