What a handsome boi! Beautiful rendition of such a unique PokΓ©mon. So fuzzy on the front, yet scaly on all the parts he uses to shield himself (and maybe eats Durant, as a myrmecophage, so he got those termite digging claws and hard skin?

If you're up for it, I look forward to any future drawings with this design! Otherwise, this is pretty great on its own. Believable in a real-world space, but still honoring the original designs are my favorite takes on realistic mons. Keep it up!

Yeah that was a source of inspiration. I think the stance here is a little off, but I sort of imagine it walking hunched over like a pangolin. I base a lot of bipedal creature designs on pangolins.

Its cool though. And makes sense considering how South America's characterized as a strange fauna'd and green world, home to a lot of those anteater and armadillo families
