Description Screeching...
The arrival was rough.
Squinting...
From welcomed brightness.
New surroundings were startling.
Yet,
Exploration was luring.

Awkward, I would say,
Is how I first felt.
A car with no driver,
Directionless, I mean.
Do I go up? Do I go in?
Can I sit here?
Can you help me?
How do I convey,
My lonely desires?
How do I make you,
Understand me?

Knowledge, it seems,
Came without fail.
Failing came,
And provided
New
Knowledge.
Knowledge of people,
Places,
And times.
When things were quite different,
But no less absurd.

Spending time as I wished,
Being lazy as well...
I viewed what I could.
And next thing I knew,
The only thought that I had,
Was, 'When can I see you?'
Time, I thought,
Would never abate.
Ignorance rules,
When Love is entrenched.

The sky was a mess,
Rain was unyeilding.
Soaking our faces,
Masking our tears.

Rumbling...
A slow ascent.
The trip was a blur,
My eyes couldn't focus.
Lonliness was,
My accompaniment.

I long for the day
I can feel,

complete

once again.

To me, it reminds me of you visiting a loved one and haven't seen them in awhile? I'd love to get what you wrote it about. Anyway, grand nonetheless and instant fav! My favorite line is, "The sky was a mess", I love that for some odd reason, very good! Happy New Year!
