I don't know why, but I've always liked the number 6, even before Generator Rex. 6 is actually my favorite number. The first thought that led to this was, of course, St. Patrick's Day (all the green). Then the lucky numbers from a fortune cookie. Then I thought about how Agent Six wears green and has a number in his name. And he's extremely lucky because he's been beaten, electrocuted, and blown up and survives.
When you think about it, Six is like a leprechaun because he always wears green and leprechauns are always depicted wearing green suits. I had to resist drawing him in a leprechaun costume. Maybe some other time.
