Description
Werewolf in the Big Wahoonie!Angua leaps down from the rooftops, surprising a couple of perpetrators while another copper looks on in amusement.
PRODUCTION NOTES:
Characters portrayed in some form or another: Angua, Sally, Vetinari, Carcer, Dibbler, Gaspode
I studied a bunch of other artists to pull this off. I tried to blend different techniques in one image.

It never occurred to me how good Angua would look in this style. Almost completely unlike any picture of her I've ever seen and yet at the same time instantly recognisable as the character. Seriously good work. Consider me a fan.

As soon as I saw the image (without seeing the title before), the first thing that came to mind was "Sergeant Angua!"
The buildings are also the way I imagine them in Ankh Morporkh, and that tower back there (Unseen UniversityΒ΄s Art Tower?) is awesome! 
And having studied all these different forms of techniques to apply to your work, really the result was great.

I've always had a tough time picturing this character, you really bring her (and the city in the background) to life.

I somehow feel she looks too young and innocent, in a way. And the fangs are too obvious. I dunno, pers'nally I like the mature, savage yet deeply aristocratic Angua who steps out behind some perp in a dark alley and makes a little hmmm? noise in the criminal's ear that makes his kidneys start shaking and whimpering and trying to crawl down inside his thighs. Hahaha.

Wow, this is... amazing. For one thing, Angua looks totally kick-ass with her werewolf canines and armor. (The armor is worthy of a whole new comment itself, especially because I've always had a hard time visualizing the Watch uniforms.) For another, there are so many details! I had to look over it several times before I found all the characters, and the buildings are stunning. I love how you managed to fit in so many different things without the picture being cluttered at all. (Is that Detritus in the top right corner? And LOL Vetinari xD) This is definitely going in my favorites!

I first discovered this picture about a year or so ago. I liked it, but didn't act. Today I do act. Why? Because it finally caught up with me how good this picture was. Love Sally's giant-brimmed hat. Partially because that's good attention to important details (such as her being a vampire), and partially just because I've grown fond of wide-brimmed hats.
Anyhow, all the other characters are very well-portrayed, and the detail is marvelous. You've got the 'feel' of the city down pat.

Angua has been one of my favorite characters in the watch ever since she was introduced, this image really captures her essence in the bustling city as a loyal watchdog-er, watchman- er- um- Watch Officer. There we go.
