This is a sand drawing I made in the studio at last Thursday. The theme was "trees". I have actually done about 6 of them, but this one is the best, so I've decided to share it with you

I have got acquainted with Sand Art during my reabilitation and volunteering in the clinic. And since I'm a Kinesthetic Learner, I loved the feeling of making it. It's something special, not like other materials. And it's also relaxing, which is good for me as for one with increased muscle tone.

It's a pretty normal question, I would ask the same question too. We use a sand for children's play. This is a clean sand which is sold in small packs in markets for children. It is the one with smallest particles, which allows to make nice professional shading effects. This is not the same as the one used outside at the street, that one has big particles. There is no big need for artistic sand. Maybe it has some differences, but we don't know it yet because we didn't try.
