-Personality: Evan is generally easy going and somewhat whimsical, and also very protective. Though he pointedly avoided other people for a very long time due to some terrible circumstances in his childhood that also involved trauma and bullying (thus creating a mild trust issue when he was younger) he's now a little clingy over the few people that he's come to befriend and trust. In re-integrating with people, he's re-igniting a lot of his more sociable aspects. Empathy for starters, and he can become fiercely protective over those he connects with... especially those who have given him the time of day and have been kind to him.

Beneath his helpful and empathetic personality, however, he can be just as fragile as Roy when it comes to the ego. While Roy seeks respect and order on the near-tyrannical scale for his validation, Evan appears to seek validation in the form of give and take: to receive from others and know he's on their mind, and to give back and give to others as some sort of proof that he exists in a positive manner for others. Still, his helpful side does not mean he is a pure angel. Far from it, he is also crafty, a show-off, possessive, and quite frankly, can be lawless and rebellious.

Additionally, Avi means the world to him. What was once a companion that filled in the empty space his sister left behind, is now a precious partner that he finds it to be his job to nurture. (That is not to say he is the best for the job, considering he is technically a thief in many circumstances.) He does seem to have an overall soft spot for those that are still considered children.

-Background: Unlike Roy, Evan had two key differences in his life: he had a younger twin sister, and his cousin had a different family growing up. When his sister Liza died at the age of 13 to a digital anomaly right before his eyes in their own house, no one would believe that he saw a strange portal and that some monster was the cause her electrocution. Her death was ruled as an electrical accident, but his insistence that something else had killed her began to draw rumors from his unkind school mates that perhaps he was the cause of her death. This development alone made him bitter towards his peers and school in general, and he began to hone a short temper and lashed out at anyone who dared to taunt him. Never getting over Liza's death, he became reclusive, and it coloured his vision that everyone else disliked him. The only other peer he got along with was his cousin Esyra.

Right before high school started was when things really started to get messy. During his summer break, as he spent time on the family computer, the power suddenly went out one evening, but the screen was still on. Staring into it, he blinked, and suddenly, he was in the Digital World. It was there that he met Aviamon, a digimon so strangely like the pretty red-and-white feathered dress the young Liza used to wear on special occasions. This meeting and discovery felt like a wondrous boon to Evan, however...it was not the best of things that ought to happen to him.

Evan became the kind of tamer who had the ability to open the portal between worlds at his choosing, and he kept this information to himself. After being dismissed as "traumatized hallucinations" the last time he mentioned 'portals' he decided that perhaps this world was meant for his knowledge alone. As school started, he quickly became branded as a 'trouble student' in high school, often skipping classes with no explanation as to where he went, straining his relationship with his parents further. He spent his time exploring the Digital World and visiting Avi instead of going to school. And this continued until his third year, when he heard that his beloved cousin died to...well, electrocution in her school computer lab, by witness of her best friend, Evelyn.

Unlike when Evan watched Liza die, Evelyn had solemnly informed him that she never saw anything out of the ordinary...only a bright jolt from the cables when Esyra was reaching for her bag. But fueled with a belief that he would find answers in the Digital World, after the funeral, he left home, and began his journey on the other side. It was...a fruitless one. He never had a good look at what killed her sister, and didn't have a good start towards anything. After a long time of wandering and discovery, he had to come to terms with the fact that there was no rhyme, reason, or revenge to be had. Liza was dead. Esyra was dead. And Avi was all he had.

It wasn't until a little later in his journeys did he one day meet Evelyn in the the Digital World...with a mint-skinned seraph digimon by her side. And by that meeting, Evan came to terms with his sister's death, happy that at least his cousin found a better fate. This change also made him recognize Aviamon as an embodiment of his memories of his sister, and when he parted ways with Evelyn and Esyra, he decided to start seeking for something else...

Treasure.

And sometimes things of no value to others, he finds value in. He started to collect trinkets, and goes digging through ruins, temples, and graves (why do they have those in the Digital World?), regardless of if they were abandoned or not, specifically to collect any shiny treasure he could find...and while some may call that treasure hunting, others may call it plundering or even thievery. He's traveled between many different servers, some may have not even been part of the same Digital World linked to his Real World, and in some servers, he's been considered a menace. Of the trinkets he collects, he also plunders treasures of monetary value, and has a good stash of gold coins, which he isn't too stingy about giving away to people here and there who need it.

-Current Situation: Evan spent a fine couple of years collecting a hoard of things that were of value to him, but one day, as he went out exploring with Avi and their little entourage of little mechanical birds, they fell through a random portal that he did not open. It dumped them unceremoniously into the waters of a Hawaiian beach, and he could not open the portal back up to go back. Having not been back to the Real World in almost ten years, this was a shocking and unwelcome development, but it forced him to discover and get in contact with the DMCU...not long before Gallantmon and the Guilmon House wrecked havoc upon the world. This forced Evan to take a detour, where instead of going to where the DMCU island was, he went straight to Dubai first...And encountered his counterpart, Roy.

-Spirit Digivolution: Wondering about those little robot birds? Those little birds once guarded a Spirit. Evan took that Spirit, so now they follow him. They are important to his Spirit Digivolution, as without them, his Spirit form pretty much only acts as armor, with some enhancements to his strength, and comes with the ability to stealth. Outside of being in Spirit form, the birds are just semi-sentient robots that don't need to be fed, and do not communicate with spoken word. Evan can somehow understand what they convey, but they only convey basic things, and other than picking up small things, he uses them for reconnaissance...to an extent.

-Race: Aviamon (Red Variant, main species)

-Type: Vaccine

-Personality: Sweet and kind, while also a little shy. She isn't introverted, but when it comes to approaching new people, she doesn't know how to start. Once she warms up, she's every bit a reliable friend. Her Master (Evan) is her everything, and while Evan babies her, she does whatever she can to pamper him back. She likes gold the most, and brings things back to add to her and Evan's treasure collection. Enjoys having her Master's attention, usually involving being held and preened. Her favorite foods is dried jerky and ice cream, and she takes great delight in them when Evan brings her any.

-Story: Aviamon is somewhat of an enigma. When Evan first found himself in the digital world was when Aviamon first realized she existed. She reminded Evan so much of his deceased sister that he immediately accepted her presence by his side. In order to visit her, Evan regularly skipped school, until he decided he wanted nothing to do with the Real World anymore and ran away from home to go adventuring with her.

- Evan wears glasses to 'correct' his vision, whereas Roy's vision does not need correction. Evan is far-sighted, and most things up close will be blurry, especially when he needs to read. He can see far away really well, however, and favors glasses over contacts so that he can easily tilt his frames down and look afar.
- Likes high places, and has a very acute sense of balance. Has acrobatic abilities and flexibility that beats out Roy's, but Roy beats him in an actual comparison of strength.
- When all is said and done, Roy and Evan can actually get along pretty well. At their core, they understand each-other's pain very well.
- Evan's Digivice is also his phone, which he keeps in the inner pocket of his jacket.
- The belt buckle is actually a buckle that Roy also owns, though Roy keeps his at the side of his waist on his sash.
- Evan's little trinkets on his chain are such: A golden feather from Valkyrimon's bird, a golden scale from a digimon, an ankh he took from some ruins, a Queenchessmon's heart accessory he received when he helped her 'retrieve' something that was stolen from her, a Lillithmon's wing accessory which he 'bargained' for, and a holy-ring he may or may not have stolen from a digimon that wronged him.
- Under the coat and vest, Evan actually wear's the same kind of undershirt Roy has on: those sleeves and 'gloves' are all one piece. The buttons for the vest are snap-buttons, which he can very easily take off. All the white pieces of his ensemble can easily be shed an stowed away in his digivice's storage, immediately revealing only dark colours for him to sneak around in.
- He owns a hunting-knife not unlike Roy, but favors a more ornate set of trick-knives, which he can throw pretty accurately. Roy, on the other hand, only has good aim when a gun or crossbow is involved. (In comparison, Evan is not comfortable with firearms and is also not that good with them.)
- The tool kit at his leg contains things such as lock-picks, first-aid items, and manners of tools for quick escape and distractions.
