This is the third important scene of my characters main storyline.

I altered this part of the story a bit

When Spike and Ruby landed back on their home planet, they went to search for the Gem Palace. The problem was that their home was covered in snow and a raging blizzard was interrupting their path.
So, Spike and Ruby both set on foot to find the Palace, until Spike had said something that upset Ruby. In result, Ruby became deeply upset and ran off out of Spike's sight.
She walks through the thick snow, not realizing what trouble she was getting herself into.
Suddenly, a white figure tackled her to the ground by mistake.
The white hedgehog wasn't paying attention, due to him running and hiding from a wild creature that was after him.
Ruby spotted one of his daggers that had blood on it (from the creature he was running from).
So, in panic, she screams.
Spike heard her screams and finds this white hedgehog hovering over her.
He mistook the situation and fought the white hedgehog in order to protect Ruby.
Their fight went on for a while till the white hedgehog recognized Spike.
The white hedgehog tried to convince Ruby and Spike that he was not their enemy. He kept revealing facts about Spike to prove that they knew each other.
Spike took a good look at the hedgehog and realized it was his childhood friend Dusk Hunter. Dusk explained the situation between him and Ruby and Spike forgave him.
Ruby was not pleased with how quick Spike was to forgive Dusk, when he did her some physical harm (not of purpose, of course). She was also angry at the fact that Spike had another best friend before her.
Eventually, Dusk offers them to stay at his place for meantime, because their way to the Gem Palace was too far and it was getting late.
