Little Sappike (Sapphire and Spike) Fact:

Their relationship really is honest and sweet.
They both are truly in love with each other despite their complete personality differences.
Their relationship is a little sad too. They both suffer from major different things, but somehow manage to pick each other up when one falls.
In this pic, Sapphire is doing her best to pick up Spike's self esteem/confidence. He isn't fond of his own curly hair/fur.
He doesn't love himself, he hides it by refusing to talk about himself and puts others he admires/loves on a podium (usually those who he thinks are better than him, just to keep the focus off of him).
He does it with good intention cause he truly does admire those he loves and everything positive he says about them, he genuinely means it.

In other words, Spike loves everyone else except for himself.
