Description
This is a Batman warm up page, so I have more known characters in my portfolio. You may recognize the sequence as being similar to a recent issue. I wanted to challenge myself by re-interpreting what the artist did without copying it.Batman-copyright DC comics

Sort of I guess. My agent has already shown DC and Marvel with positive response, but it's sometimes a waiting game as timing is a big factor.

Very good work Rudy. I like very much the dynamism that the panels transmit . Even so, I would like to see your drawings a little less charged of lines, sometimes they confuse a little drawings.

You might want to limit the number of panels to 4 or 5, especially if there's supposed to be dialog or sfx

Sometimes the writer wants what he wants and a great artist makes it interesting and flow no matter how many panels there are. For the record, as an artist less equals more, I do prefer between 4 and 6 panels on a page.

Fine, thanks dude. How about you? I am Working on some more indie stuff . You know, after seeing these Batman pages I feel inspired to draw some sequential pages for my portfolio featuring more mainstream characters. Man, your work is fantastic.

Thanks, I'm actually doing indie stuff and my agent is trying to get me in the door for more mainstream stuff but I'm being offered a great longterm deal from an indie publisher that won't leave time for the more known characters,....so I don't know. I'm mulling it over.
