Got bored, experimented with some colours, this is what came out
Kinda like it
2B, 3B Pencils
Blue, Dark Green, Light Green and Tangerine colours
Technique? Hmm...Just being in the zone for drawing

Here you could have used more shadowing and the reflection in the eye could be more extrem. Also you should bring more lightning in the green. That way it looks more realistic
