My first complete anthro! It took me like... 6 hours? But I like the result.
Siska is taking some fresh air at the balcony and gazing at the night, the city lights underneath her feet, the starless sky above her head. I tried to recreate this particular atmosphere that stroke me when I was in summer holiday in Shanghai: the sky is purple and polluted, the air is warm, you're surrounded by skyscrapers and the bright city lights are like a huge fire.
Yup, Anthro!Siska would be a modern citizen in her little flat in a big city. I like imagining her at a party where everybody's already drunk, sneaking onto the balcony to retrieve some calm and listen to some quiet John Mayer's song on her pocket radio- GO LISTENING JOHN MAYER.
And nice balcony, uh ? IT'D BETTER BE. I spent so much time on it! I'm not able to draw straight lines, so I use a Linework layer on Sai and OH MY GOD I HATE IT. It's really useful, but drawing all these bars, and so that this balcony was technically possible... pain in the ass. Also, I was so proud of Siska's rangers and OF COURSE, THESE BARS HIDE THEM. Let me die.
Maybe I will open commissions with simple backgrounds. But meanwhile, you can still commission me for character drawing! [link]
