Description
Here is one of the 4 anatomical commissions completed for . Thank you so Much for for generosity! Exploring your character and his various forms was a blast! This was a bit different from my past concepts for Avian hand structure. My Past Anthropomorphic Avians haven't had a separate set of wings for flight and a second set of arms for manipulation. In this case having the Character be partly dragon in form made it make anatomical sense though. But Having a single set of wing like arms with fingers will remain my personal favorite approach to Anthropomorphizing birds and other winged creatures.
A thing unique to the design of this hand in particular was that it uses the anatomical layout of an avian's foot apposed to a human hand for example, but with a human like wrist and arm structure, to provide proper movement and fine manipulation of objects.
