i just recently found out about another, extinct, species of wolf, the dire wolf! there a much more hefty version of canus lupus, with a broader face, smaller ears, and a stockier build. back in the ice age time, they ruled along side the wolves we have today, but somewhere along the lines, they lost the evolution battle... enjoy!
