Not a Hendrix fan myself, though I've been known to list to a little bit of Jimmy now again in the back of my buddy's car, with thick smoke wafting through the air around us.
Very nice work though. Portrait of a musical revolutionary... which makes the militaristic background so much more meaningful and appropriate. Cheers!

i agree that this hendrix's salute to the soldiers, i know he was always praising them. and not the established government.

I'm not sure what it says, but I like it. I'm interpretting it maybe not as Hendrix's salute to the military effort, but to the soldiers and to America.
