My first artwork contributed to the Retro Games Month, very appropriate I think, Mario being a vital importance to video games and I think really showed everyone what video games are meant to be.They do look kinda creepy the more I look at them...

My favorite thing in this piece has to be the subtle transition in the background from red/orange to green. It gives each side of the picture a distinct "feel", which seems like an appropriate contrast between Mario and Luigi.

Creepy? yeah, but i like how the in the background for each they have their own colour and then it kinda converges in the center.
I have to agree about Mario setting the standards for other games. Mario bro's 3 wuz like the only game i played when i was a little tiny kid ^^
