...dude, i hope you take this in the spirit in which it's meant (that being; EXTREMELY complimentary) ...but, with this one, you're on a whole 'nother level, an art adams level ...i've been a (HUGE) fan since you took over invincible, and i've watched your art evolve and improve every year ...you need to be getting way more recognition than you're getting, right up there with the those other superstars, like mcguiness, mcniven, quitely, mahnke, and macguire.

have you ever heard of luca enoch? he made a comic series here in italy, called "gea", which is more or less about parallel dimensions, or "planes of existance", in which mytological creatures like for example centaurs, are only "people" who escaped or "fell out" of their dimension... in the first issue you can see some people called "blemii" (in italian), that seem to be known since centuries ago. they're creatures without head and with a complete face on the torso.
in that comicbook some of these people live in our worl, disguised by putting mechanical fake heads on their shoulders.
this made me think of them

I was about to say that I've seen this before, but then I read your post. Oh well, I guess I said it anyways! But did you work on it a bit over the years? I didn't remember it so... polished!
Great work though, it's really creapy. Especially when someone is scrolling down. They see the man's head, and the beginning of an open trenchcoat. One just knows nothing good come of it, but then it's something completely different. Badass!
