Description
Azure Breeze is a unicorn mare who enjoys the artistic side of life. Born and raised in Baltimare near Horseshoe Bay, she was able to meet many different types of ponies and watch just as many talents. An only filly, she met her best friend Soaring Skies when Skies moved from Germane with her family. The two are inseparable and commonly refer to each other as sisters. She received her cutie mark after designing and stitching her first cross-stitch pattern as a Mother's Day gift. Azure continued to experiment with her talent until she finished magic school. Once she graduated, Azure remained in Baltimare for a short period of time before deciding to move to Ponyville and open a shop as a freelance artist, as it is the closest town in proximity to Canterlot where most art shows (and art buyers) are.

Azure loves to do things with her own two hooves (or horn) the most. Even though her cutie mark a needle and pencil, like the breeze, she is able to near effortlessly switch between different art mediums instead of focusing on one. This has helped her small business since she can tailor to many different tastes and still enjoy her work. Her dream is to one day be noticed by the Princesses and have a work commissioned for the Royal Palace.

While appearing shy at first glance, Azure is very talkative once you get to know her. She is not quick to anger, but her patience does not last long with those who are rude to herself or Soaring. This has been a very hard trait to control at art shows. Even though her work space can become quite messy, overall she is a very organized pony and hates if somepony (usually Soaring) moves her stuff. Azure has yet to find a stallion to date, and while looking for herself, occasionally plays matchmaker in her head for her friends.

Soaring is often a frequent visitor to Azure's house. Whenever she comes to visit, Soaring usually works in her shop to earn some bits before flying off on her next adventure. She always makes sure to bring an interesting story or gift for Azure however, such as when she came back from visiting Saddle Arabia. Soaring learned how to do metalwork and made herself and Azure a pair of earrings, one gold and one silver. Intrigued by this type of craft, Azure added her own touch to the gift by also learning how to work with metal and etched matching patterns onto the inside of the earrings. Neither one of them takes the gift off.

When not with Soaring or working on her pieces, Azure loves to stargaze and hike to find beautiful scenery. Recently, she has looked into learning how to play an instrument but cannot decide which one yet.
