Description
I really liked this angle because of the smaller unopened bud behind it. It is also such a vibrant orange when all we usually see are reds and pinks. A refreshing change of pace.

Sweet orange is an expertly taken photograph of a flower. In terms of composition it is flawless. The flower is completely in focus and it works to it's advantage that the background is out of focus. The flower is slightly off center which lends to the flower feeling naturally in the center but not so symmetrical as to be dull. There is a lot good going on in this piece. In photography time of day matters. I think if the picture was taken on a different time of day then you could have really gotten the beauty of this flower. As is it's a technically proficient piece with a moderate impact. Taking pictures of flowers isn't anything new and that's why I rated low on originality. If you could somehow get a unique perspective on the flower like shooting it at a odd angle then there would be more originality in it. Please don't take this criticism negatively. Just keep this in mind in the future. Have some unique spin on things and the picture would be flawless. All in all it's a great piece of photography.
