Description A railway bridge in Pakosc, Poland. It is still used, surprisingly. But it's mostly used as a shortcut to a nearby town of Janikowo and the nearby forests. Also a popular hangout place for hoodlums like us.

The snow, plus the sky, make an awesome, smaller railroad viaduct even better.

"Shutter Speed:1999/100000 second"? Whats that all about?
The photo is well composed, and almost perfectly symmetrical (oh well, we are photographers, not scientists godammit!)
It seems like you know what you are doing!
Iv'e got only 2 problems here... The sky seems a bit weird, and the exposure is slightly off because of the shadows, an HDR will work great here!

I think it's just a slight error, 1999/100000 is 1/50 rounded, anyway

And I thought with this structure I had to go for perfect symmetry! It was easier because I could set up the tripod on the train track and this way could make sure the optics were right in the middle (although this became a problem when a train was coming up from behind us haha!)

And can you explain the sky point? this is pretty accurately how it was, since it was early in the morning, on a freezing (-18) beautiful day! This is a HDR ^^

Lol 1/50, I'm not good at math...
about the perfection thing, I don't believe in perfect. I can say that it couldn't have been done better than this
I don't think I will have the guts to stand on a working railway!

About the sky, It just looks like this was shot some minutes after the sunset, and the colors are quite in the middle. Not sunset gold, or morning blue.
And if it is already an HDR, I apologize!

I take all the things I said back! This photo is flawless

Mate, it is a Polish railway, and in a very quiet little town and only trains that go past are the slow freight trains between factories in the area, the passenger trains to the close city of Inowroclaw were cancelled years ago! So we were quite surprised when a little train came round the corner And anyway, I do stupid things for photography

I think it is because the sort of freezing mist was present at this temperature, which refracts light at very interesting angles.

This photo is not flawless, but it's the best my humble Canon can do!

We jews are a bit sensitive about trains... (awkward silence) to much?
It's a good thing that you have the courage to do those things for photography! but be careful with your camera! oh, and with yourself of course.

Wow... very intense!

I really like the colours here and how you've caught the shot in this particular timing of the day. I think it's pretty cool how it feels so vibrant and alive, as that influences the atmosphere and mood to be .. well, quite potent, I guess.

The symmetry of it all makes the composition more balanced, and I like how you've executed it... you could crop a bit of the left and bottom/top, perhaps, but it's not too bad all in all.

It feels a bit washed out in some areas, but.. yeah. o.O
